 s the one-and-only Mr. Forrest Gump once so poignantly remarked, "Mama always said life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." A truly iconic and endearing statement that (in spite of its much deeper existential meaning) on the surface can simply be taken as either an affirmation unto the unknown (and distinctive) caprices of life itself or rather of the more literal (in this sense) and enticing (albiet often unfulfilling) novelty that rests behind the traditional chocolate Christmas advent calendar. |
Point being is that — when alluding to advent calendars (and not life) — we at times are gifted precisely what it is that we desire and at others a rather un-festive (and inedible) lump of coal.
But, that need not always be the case as these luxury upgrades are here to prove otherwise.
